Shoreside Village Seaside Heights Unit 14 Casino Pier
Shoreside Village Seaside Heights Sky Ride

Living or renting at Shoreside Village puts you in the heart of Seaside Heights. It is the perfect blend of everything we know as the Jersey Shore. A family-friendly town that offers it all.  Seaside Heights is called "the town that fun built".  The excitement of the boardwalk, the restaurants, the clubs, pier rides, arcades, the water park, and mini golf are all just steps away.  You also have the great Seaside Heights beach right out your door.  As quiet as you want and as exciting as you want to make it, that's Shoreside Village, that's the Jersey Shore. Below are many ideas to entertain yourself, your family, and your guests.

  • Jersey Shore reality TV show house.  Three blocks north on Ocean Terrace, grab a selfie.

  • Fireworks

Wednesday Night Fireworks on the Seaside Heights boardwalk (ask the visitor center what side of the boardwalk they will have them (north beach or south beach).  Other neighboring towns also have fireworks (i.e. Lavallette, Ortley)  You will have to google to see what nights these are.

  • Movies on the beach

Seaside has movies on the beach one or two nights a week. They are pretty close to the house.  For this feel free to bring the house beach chairs with you.  Get there early for a good seat.  Be respectful (as much as you can, kids will be kids).

  • Seaside Scooters

  • Old Time Photos

    • Dress up the group in a number of old-time clothes, backgrounds, and props.  Located on Boardwalk

  • Sunsets

Sunsets can be taken in from many places in Seaside Heights.  Some a walk, some a Bike Ride, and some worth it to jump in the car and drive a few miles.  Photo tip.  If taking a good sunset shot it’s best to use a real camera or a phone with a good flash.  I call it “Front Flashing”  Set the camera or phone to permanent flash.  It's best to take pictures immediately after the sun goes down over the bay.

1. JACOBSON PARK / HANKINS PARK  (MY FAVORITE SUNSET PARK – you have to go one night.  This is also the park with the famed Lavalette Gazebo on the bay.  It has a long pier that goes out to the Bay.  There is plenty of Bayfront to set up, relax and watch the sunset.  Bring some beach chairs if you really want to chill and watch the sun go down. There are also basketball courts, swings, small park slides etc.

2 mile's drive north from the house. The best GPS is 201 Vance ave, Lavallette, NJ  Entrance to the park is Bay Boulevard and Vance Ave.  NOTE: Park on street, they have weird permit rules in the parking lot.

2.  Lake Avenue Playground and Beach:  corner of Lake Avenue and O street on the bay.  Long walk, ride bikes or drive about ¾ mile from the house.

3.  Dock Outfitters:  5 Route 35 South (on the south bayfront), nice (bring adult drinks – be discrete)

4.  Our rooftop deck:  Great spot, don’t sit inside, head up to roof at sunrise or sunset – GREAT VIEWS.
