Shoreside Village Renters at Spicy Cantina Resturant
Shoreside Village Renters at the Beach Comber Bar

Once you've had your fill of the boardwalk Pizza, Cheese Steak, French Fries, Sausage Sandwiches, and fried Oreos here are some good restaurants to try out. Some casual restaurant recommendations:  walk to are Spicy Cantina upstairs, Klees, Saw Mill, PJ's Place, Hemmingway's, and Park Seafood (above Aztec or on North Boardwalk Kiosk).  Most all are within walking distance from Shoreside Village.  Trip Advisor also has information on them and many others.  For a comprehensive list of Bars go to https://www.seasidesearch.com/NJSeasideHeights

BARS

The best two bars in all of Seaside are on your units roof and front deck.  You cannot pay for better people watching, drama and good times! They are also BYOB.

Bars on the boardwalk from North to South (Build your own Bar Crawl):  You can walk to all of these!  A fun tipsy walk.

  • EJs Taphouse:  local bar with a lot of pool tables, and bands in back, on the boardwalk. Shot and beer joint.

  • Aztec:  On the boardwalk, outside seating, I think pretty boring, only stop if on a bar crawl or meeting folks walking in from Ortley Beach. Cheap beer joint.

  • Jimbos:  walk up and get a beer and shot, boardwalk food is also served

  • JR’s / Marugas: family Restaurant in the day, a nightclub at night,  Very young crowd 21-27 ($2 bud lights and blasting DJ and dancing)

  • Spicy Cantina:  age varies, younger late evening, This is the party you can see from the front decks

  • Midway Bar: (next to Midway sausage stand):  Excellent place to have a beer and people watch on the boardwalk, outside boardwalk seating, push the Stroller right in

  • Beach Comber (our favorite because of the Bands downstairs and rooftop partying)

  • Saw Mill:  Great Oval Bar, Beer Selection, Pizza, and food

  • Sand Bar: - Frozen Drinks next to Sawmill on the beach;  Nice outside Bar, sit in Adirondack chairs with toes in sand

  • Ocean Club: - nice large Bar and outside deck on the Ocean.  Must see, you can walk right down to the beach and sit on picnic tables

  • Casino Pier WAVES BAR: - Located right inside the Arcade, next to the Pier Grill! Enjoy a drink while people watching on the Boardwalk! You can walk around with your drink while the kids or yourself play all the arcade games!

  • Casino Pier FROGGY'S ON THE PIER Bar: Enjoy a refreshing cocktail while enjoying the rides and games! Froggy’s on the Pier is located right outside the Pier entrance gates on our Midway. Grab a drink and stroll along the pier while the kids ride!

  • Casino Pier SURF BAR: Located in our Midway, grab a drink or a bite to eat at our laid back Surf Bar.

  • Casino Pier PIER PUB:  Like to enjoy the sights of the rides? Take a seat at Pier Pub, located outside of Centrifuge at the back of our pier! Grab a drink and enjoy the rides and attractions!

Off of Boardwalk on/near Boulevard from North to South

  • Hooks – local bar, haven’t been to, some say it’s fun.

  • Hemingway's: You must go here!  Good for all ages, sophisticated older crowd, big bands, unique experience, not a bathing suit place, nice polo or button down

  • Jaxx Garage Bar and Grill:  Young kids 21-35  like this place, I’m 54 so never been there for night life

  • Riggers on the boulevard – Local Bar, newly renovated

  • Klees – Irish bar and family restaurant, good on Tap selection (Always a good time, acoustic guitars some nights
